The police officer accused of tasering a nursing home resident in the Snowy Mountains, has been suspended from duty.

The 33-year-old senior constable has been stood down with pay.

95 year old Clare Nowland is receiving end-of-life care at Cooma Hospital.

The New South Wales Greens will today move a motion in for an inquiry into police conduct, and for the body cam footage to be released to the public.
