There are more “HELP WANTED” ads being distributed across Canberra in the search for more pool lifeguards.

It started earlier this month at Phillip Pool – calling for more casual lifeguards.

Since then, Dickson Pool has confirmed, there’s a pressing need for fresh recruits to keep swimmers safe. Others have followed suit.

The search for lifeguards comes as a long, dry summer’s been forecast for the A.C.T.

As an incentive, one facility is offering a free training course – within a 3 day period.
