A Canberra based task force, set up to catch NDIS rorts, is seeing high volumes of tip offs.

The NDIS has recorded over 2000 reports related to fraud and compliance in February.

One of the cases resulting in a charge of a former health practitioner who was found to be dishonestly obtaining a financial advantage with an alleged fraud value of over 1 Million Dollars.

NDIS minister Bill Shorten says he thanks Australians for supporting the efforts to rid the system of fraudsters, scammers, and criminals.
