The man accused of the stabbing attack at the Australian National University is undergoing a mental health assessment.
His case returned to the ACT Magistrates Court today, where his lawyer asked for a lengthy adjournment.
24-year old Alex Ophel is accused of stabbing two women on the ANU campus, and assaulting two others last month.
The case will return to court in December.
