Quakes in the Snowy Mountains

 Geoscience Australia says it’s monitoring a series of small earthquakes in the Snowy Mountains.
The first occured just last Monday night,  11 kilometres east of Jindabyne.
It measured two-point-six on the Richter scale.
A second quake followed just under an hour later measuring two-point-five.
Both tremors were felt as far away as Cooma.
