ACT Government irrigated sportsgrounds will be temporarily closed for two weeks from today till Thursday October 1st to prepare fields for the summer sport season ahead.

This work is essential to help maintain the 129 sportsgrounds that are used year-round for various sporting groups.

Maintenance work over the next two weeks will include removing goal posts, top dressing, upgrading the turf and fertilising frass.
