Fresh information’s been revealed about an alleged kidnapping extortion, involving an A.C.T. university student and a fake police officer.
The details were released in court documents in which, it appears an international network is targetting vulnerable Chinese international students.
It seems the man is also facing similar charges in Tasmania – and is yet to face charges for alleged actions in NSW.
The target is threatened with threats of deportation by a man pretending to be an officer, with demands of payments…
The man was granted bail when he appeared last week in the A.C.T.. Magistrates court – The 22 year old’s due back in court, come July.
