Canberra Zoo says it’ll re-open fully today after closing the areas impacted by this week’s fatal stabbing.

The man accused of stabbing his female co-worker to death this week at the zoo was charged yesterday at a hospital bedside hearing and was refused bail.

The 29 year old woman was found stabbed to death on Monday – in a store room at the back of a commercial kitchen. The menagerie was closed this week but officials plan to re-open it today.

The man’s facing court in April next year.
