More smoke’s expected to be seen across parts of Canberra – atleast for the next fortnight.

It depends on the wind direction, as authorities continue to carryout prescribed burns around Gungahlin and Crace.

The hazard reduction burn began on Monday… and is expected to continue atleast over the Christmas New Year period.

Earlier this week, another prescribed burn was carried out by the Parks and Conservation Service.

It was located in scrubland – to the West of Weston Creek.
