A.C.T. Budget passed

Chief Minister ANDREW BARR says the A.C.T. Budget outlines an improved position for the Territory.

The budget was passed yesterday in the Legislative Assembly.

$2.2 billion has been dedicated to healthcare and includes the employment of 400 more healthcare professionals.

It also addresses housing affordability and supply – including targeted cuts to stamp duty, involving the construction of hundreds of new public housing dwellings

The Budget includes a $7 billion dollar infrastructure program over five years.
