E.V. Roadside Assistance

If you drive an electric vehicle in Canberra – the N.R.M.A. has unveiled its mobile chargers for members in the territory who need a top up.
The Association’s  “roadside assistance” package includes cover for E.V.s at no additional cost.
Two Caberra based NRMA patrol vans now have been specially equipped to carry  small  lithium-ion battery packs that provide one kilometres of charge every two minutes.
It’s not a big top up – After as little as 10 minutes of charging, a vehicle will have five kilometres of range to get to the nearest charging station.
