A former Canberra Raiders player who allegedly ran onto the field during Sunday’s NRL Grand Final – has also written concerning environmental comments on facebook.

43 year old Mark McLinden played for the Raiders from 1998 to 2004.

He was arrested and issued with a court notice for his antics during Sunday’s NRL Grand Final where he also allegedly ripped a sponsor banner from a goal post.

It’s now been revealed, prior to running onto the field, he wrote a long facebook post,  ranting that our climate had become unstable and that climate scientists were turning to activism.
