The Emergency Services agency’s acquisition of a state-of-the-art hybrid firetruck has been labelled a game changer for the ACT’s fire service.

The $1.5 million-dollar vehicle comes four years in the making, following talks and collaboration with Austrian company Rosenberg.

Emergency Services Minister Mick Gentleman says the launch of the truck highlights the government’s commitment to emergency services and sustainability.
