Thieves have stolen water tanks used for parkland in O’Conner to help restore damaged bushland.
The theft occurred over the weekend.
It’s understood, the thieves emptied the tanks before carrying them to a waiting vehicle off Fairfax street.
A.C.T. Police have described the theft as opportunistic because fewer people were around at the time of the incident.
